What People's Say About Place

An absolutely delightful and refreshing addition to the Quincy dining scene, this restaurant was wonderful on all aspects. The service was on point ans thoughtful, the food was delicious and plated well (presentation points), and the atmosphere was enjoyable. My only gripe, if you can even say that, is the large tv at the bar, which I felt took away from the vibe of the restaurant, but at the same time makes it clear that the restaurant is not as pretentious as it first appears. A must-try if you're in the area or looking for a great date-night spot.

Fantastic dining experience at Mason's Steakhouse happened by chance since I don't normally dine in Quincy. I had no idea what to expect upon entering the former Masonic temple that looks like it could have been the Smithsonian. The interior was actually warm and welcoming due to the open kitchen with all the wood for the grill. It was bustling on the first floor with a lot of celebrations going on. Apparently the 2nd floor is quieter and would be good to check out next time. Don't miss ordering the seafood tower. Probably one of the best I have ever had with a really nice presentation with lettuce wraps for the lobster salad, mini cones with crab meat and amazing colossal sized shrimp. The smoking dry ice was fun as well although not necessary since it was such a beautiful platter already! We were told by a friend to get the charcoal grilled prawns, and he was totally right on because it was absolutely tender and tasty! My husband's melt in your mouth filet mignon was perfectly grilled! My squid ink pasta with seafood was great but I couldn't find any of the lobster or rock shrimp that was listed on the menu. There was plenty of regular shrimp and scallops but wasn't as special as it could have been. I would definitely come back here with my whole family and wish Mason's was in Boston and easier to get to. This surprising steakhouse stands up and exceeds many of the steakhouses in Boston proper!

I've been wanting to try Masons since they opened so happy I finally got to give them a try tonight. Our waiter Brian made an already excellent experience even better with his infectious enthusiasm. The honey miso butter that went with the fluffy bread was the best start to the meal. I opted for the dry aged steak which was layered with flavor. We tried some of the sides as well with the brussel sprouts being the standout. We don't usually get dessert, but after seeing the pumpkin cheesecake we had to give it a try. It was as tasty as it was impressive! I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Went here for my birthday. Honestly a 10/10 experience. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and funny, the food was EXCELLENT, drinks were so good, and the place is beautiful. We were able to snag parking right in front. I have absolutely no complaints and will be back. I think our waiters name was Xavier— he was fantastic. Thanks for making my birthday dinner fun!

Had a great birthday dinner at Mason’s. Food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Cooked and prepared perfectly. Unique and whimsical dessert! Our server, Kevin, made sure we had a plesant experience! An elevated dining experience and happy to have such a nice restaurant come to the neighborhood. Can’t wait to go back!

Four of us went for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday at 12 and not only had a fantastic meal but had a fantastic server named Brandon. He was knowledgeable about the menu, witty and attentive. We each had a variety of dishes from appetizers to dessert and everything was delicious! We will definitely be going back.

Went for dinner and everything was amazing! Food and craft cocktails were delicious with excellent presentation and flavors. Beautiful interior. Perfect for date night or any special occasion. Highly recommend!!

Filet was the best we've ever had. Appetizer was wagyu ravioli, delicious and the wagyu steak inside was cooked to a great MR temp. Of course the bread and butter was top notch. We had the Mac n cheese and small baked potato which was delicious. The small complimentary anniversary dessert was delicious, but we also got the Tiramisu Baked Alaska which was Devine. Request the downstairs, but upstairs apparently had a party and we could hear the footsteps of apparently children running. I'm sure it was a private party but you could hear it.
